We do not have any (direct) gain or loss because of jealousy. Jealousy is intolerance of gain or loss for others. If others attain luck or influence, we talk bad about them unable to tolerate it. If they attain loss, we become happy. Is this a right behaviour? What loss have we attained because they became wealthy? But people do not think this way. If others attain something good, let us also become happy (along with them). Let us think that we also attained something good and that we are also lucky or let us also attain the same wealth or let us try to attain the same. That should be our desire and decision. What did they take away from us? Nothing. They received wealth as a benefit of their good Karma. So, why should we be jealous looking at that? Therefore, win over jealousy first.
